Can’t afford a classic car? Maybe a half scale replica car will do!

I guess there’s a market for just about anything.  Check out this video for half scale classic cars made by Pocket Classics.
There are several models available including the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, Porsche Speedster, and Jaguar E-Type each with option for gasoline- and electric-powered engines.   There’s also a miniature Willys Jeeps (gasoline only) and Bugatti Type 35s (electric only).  The half pints run about $15,000 and are made to order by a UK firm, Pocket Classics.
Think I might have to check out the Bugatti – that’s the closest I’ll ever come to owning one of those.

With the 2010 Winter Olympic games starting this Friday February 12th, we thought we’d take a whole new look at how the winter Olympics would be if it involved Classic Cars.

One of our all time favorite car shows is the BBC’s Top Gear.  Not only do the guys from Top Gear get to drive fabulous cars, they also get to do some rather funny bits and contests.  Take a look at this contest from a few years back involving an Ski Jumper competing against the Mini.
